The Medicare-reimbursable and FDA-cleared extriCARE® 2400 Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) System works to remove wound exudates, infectious material, and tissue debris from the wound bed and bring blood to the wound, which may promote faster healing.

The system comprises the powerful extriCARE® 2400 NPWT pump weighing less than one pound, a disposable canister that comes in 110cc and 400cc capacities, and anatomically fitted NPWT dressings in various shapes and sizes.

Our goal was to create a state-of-the-art NPWT system that was easy to operate for clinicians and portable for patients. We worked with countless wound care nurses, physicians, and engineers to develop a system that could be used inside the home, in wound care centers and hospitals, and in nursing homes and long-term care facilities.

Today the extriCARE® device is being used in various ambulatory and outpatient settings. Download a case study of a surgical wound being healed with our extriCARE® system to learn more.
